Rachel graduated from Plymouth University, with a first class honours degree in Podiatry. Taking the apprenticeship route means she gained over 3 years of clinical experience and has fine-tuned her skills to offer excellent care to patients.

Colleagues and patients are familiar with hearing her infectious laugh echoing down the corridor! She enjoys having a good chat and putting the world to rights, whilst also offering a safe place for patients to share. A good sense of humour is essential for an appointment with Rachel!

She is currently training in Musculoskeletal Podiatry so she can offer her patients more extensive treatment for lower limb problems such as ankle and heel pain. This knowledge gives her an insight into common problems her patients may experience and she can effectively refer onwards for appropriate treatment.

Rachel is passionate about making her patients feel confident and giving them autonomy to make informed decisions about their care. When people feel nervous about attending clinic for treatment, they are often sent to Rachel for her sensitive, caring approach that puts everyone at ease. Her experience with individuals with disabilities and/or neurodivergence makes her a good choice for patients that need extra time and assistance to adjust.

One of Rachel’s favourite treatments is medical nail reconstruction. She takes pride in achieving high aesthetic standards and giving patients the freedom to show their feet without shame or embarrassment.

In her spare time, Rachel enjoys browsing charity shops for items to up-cycle and use in her quirky home. She loves finding a bargain and would make an excellent contestant on Bargain Hunt!
