Marian qualified in 1987 from the Chelsea School of Chiropody (part of the University of Westminster).

Previously, Marian worked at her clinic in Knightsbridge (London) and Park Street (Bristol). She has additionally worked in the NHS and set up the Paediatric gait clinic in Musgrove Park Hospital (Taunton).

Marian started The Foot and Gait Clinic in Taunton in 1989 and in 2017 constructed the purpose built gait analysis clinic, alongside a functional foot orthoses lab.

She works in the gait analysis clinic and orthotic lab, and has an interest in the biomechanics of musculoskeletal problems.
